TASTING NOTES

The rum is aged and then filtered to remove the hue, but none of the flavour. It is packed full of tropical fruit and subtle oak warmth, creamy, with toasted marshmallows. Notes of buttery toast, a burst of ripe pineapple and a hint of both banana and pepper.

Made at Foursquare Rum Distillery in St Philip, Barbados, one of the few remaining independent family owned producers in the Caribbean.

The Foursquare distillery in Barbados was founded by the Seale family in the mid-1990s. The Seales, having bottled rum in Barbados for over five generations, own a string of traditional brands which now feature Foursquare rum as their main component.

Currently produced, is a range of rums using labels such as Doorly’s and R.L. Seales and excitingly, there is also a series of limited edition rums labelled ‘The Exceptional Cask Series‘ which have impressed rum drinkers all over the world.
