Boscarelli is a symbol of the territory in which it is located, between Montalcino and Montepulciano, and has been engaged in the production of Vino Nobile for over 50 years . The Vineyard was founded at the beginning of the 60s by Egidio Corradi and immediately stood out for the very high quality standards.
The vines are located 300m above sea level, and enjoy a ventilated microclimate with temperature ranges, a perfect condition for viticulture. The alluvial soils drain the water optimally, giving the grapes a very intense and refined mineral note. 80% of production is focused on Sangiovese but there are also some indigenous goodies such as Canaiolo or Colorino, up to the international Merlot and Cabernet.
Their Prugnolo is a wine in which the vineyard enhance the freshness of the fruity notes of Sangiovese combined with spicing from the Mammolo variety. It is produced by selecting grapes from young vines with the richest perfumes and less-mature structure. In search of pleasure, they are careful not to fall into banality. Produced since 1989 as Rosso di Montepulciano, the vintage has worn the current label since 2003. The average annual production is 20,000 bottles.
